    By Mladen Jovanovic on 25/10/2010

I have recently found this website by John McCrone. It seems promising although I am currently too busy to read it, but I will.   dichotomistic    This site is large. There are several books worth of material here. It also mixes the scholarly and the popular. This FAQ will help you decide whether the site has anything to offer you....

    By Mladen Jovanovic on 21/10/2010

In short, the main purpose of the warm-up is to prepare the athletes for the main part of the workout. As late Charlie Francis used to say „Do whatever you need to warm-up“, which basically means don’t follow the dogmatic hypes and limit your options by saying negative or absolute claims, like „No to static stretching“.

  • The Function of Muscles in the Human Body

    By Mladen Jovanovic on 11/10/2010

In my opinion, and I may be wrong, muscles are flexible in terms of their function and can express different functions under certain context. This may be good thing and it may lead to dysfunctions and pain too. Anyway, there is a certain ‘attractor’ in their functioning based on their structure and location. • What the Heck Is Periodization Anyway?

    By Mladen Jovanovic on 07/10/2010

I don’t watch TV. At least not in the amount I used to. I am not old either. Somewhat I feel that I should spend my time reading the stuff that interests me and watching more documentaries, which I do. Also, I need to reduce my Facebook time and internet dating too. But, that’s life, right?
