    Hi Mladen,

I was wondering whether there would be any way of having the individual strength cards change depending upon the athlete selected?

For example, for the tier 3×5 tab I select athlete 1, input their exercises/sets&reps for the next 4 weeks, then change to athlete 2 and complete their exercises/sets&reps for the next 4 weeks. Then when I go back to athlete 1, instead of changing back to the original exercises/sets&reps selected for athlete 1 they remain the same exercises/sets&reps selected for athlete 2. Which means if I want to make any amendments to athlete 1’s strength card I have to re-input all of the exercises/sets&reps, rather than the strength card being saved for the individual athlete.

    I hope that makes sense!

    Thanks for any help.

It does make sense. Unfortunately that would be pretty hard/complex to do in Excel and would involve Visual Basic and building a database.

There are couple solutions out there – VisualCoaching would allow you that. I am also working on one new product that should be available soon.

    Regards,

    Hi Matt,

I was thinking along the same line and ended up with some sort of a solution. Once I create a template for a client I can right click on the template sheet at the bottom of the excel file (‘tier 2×5’) then ‘move or copy’, click create new copy and select it to go to a new worksheet rather than within the strength card builder. Then you can save this single worksheet template under your athletes folder and simply drag it back into the strength card builder when you want to use that particular exercise template. This saves you having to re-select all the exercises and set/rep schemes when you decide to make a tweak to a certain players workout.

    Hope this helps mate.

Thanks for the tip Darrel. You can always create multiple copies of tabs and whole workbooks.
