I went through the Starting Strength linear progression in 2020 and put on a lot of excess weight.
In fact, I started at ~ 190lb and ended at 250lb.
I am currently at 235lb / 106.5kg and need to get down to 210lb / 95kg by end of February / Early March.
This was the advice from my Starting Strength coach:
“6 weeks is a quick turn. But basically weights 2 times a week, HIIT 2 times a week, and one run.
Plus caloric deficit.”
