“Novel” Metric to Compare Athletes Using Their Load-Velocity Curve

It is always questionable what could be the best way to compare athlete across time when it comes to load-velocity curve. We need to take care of their 1RM and BW.

The question is simple: “What could be used to compare athletes across time and among themselves, taking into account the full load-velocity continuum, but taking into account their strength levels and body weight?”. You can find my answer in the video below and in the Excel workbook attached.

This could potentially be used in the “gamification” of the training using leader boards and what have you. I am pretty sure it will give you some food for thought.
